The program focuses on information technology to positively impact the patient - physician relationship through effective collection, safeguarding, and understanding of health data. You will learn how to implement new technologies and help control costs in healthcare settings. Areas that may be covered are advanced classification systems, data security and privacy management thus familiarizing you with information systems and health policy, to prepare you for a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and doctor’s groups.
